NEW BUILDING FUND PROJECT

Endeavouring to Serve More

Sree Narayana Mission’s New Building Project

Sree Narayana Mission (Singapore)’s longstanding commitment to serving the community and our continual efforts in enhancing the programmes we offer are the reasons we have become one of the leading charitable organisations in Singapore. And along this line, with the intention of expanding our range of welfare programmes, we have launched our building fund project, aimed at raising funds for the construction of a new building in the Yishun or Sembawang locality. This new building will allow the Mission to house and conduct more welfare and community outreach programmes for the residents of Yishun and Sembawang, as well as other neighbouring estates.

The current Mission Building in Yishun Avenue 5 houses the Nursing Home – our nursing home facility – as well as the Senior Care Centre @ Yishun. As such, there is a constraint in the space needed to provide additional essential programmes. The new building will allow the Mission to not only continue hosting its existing programmes, but to offer some new ones as well, such as a Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic, physiotherapy and rehabilitation services, and free legal counselling and referrals. There are also plans to set up a Senior Activity Corner and a Care-Giver Resource Centre.

With more space, the Mission can also increase its youth outreach activities, such as mentoring activities for at-risk youth, and recreational classes. As such, the new building will allow the Mission to serve a wide spectrum of the community as we endeavour to care for the needy, and work to provide them welfare services. To do this, we aim to raise S$10 million for this new building, over the course of 3 years, and we humbly seek support from all members of the community through the following ways:

-Direct Donations
- Charity Dinner on 11 November 2015
- Flag Day on 16 December 2015
- SNM Community Walk on 24 July 2016
- Charity Golf and Lottery Draw in 2017
