General Worker (Meranti Home@Pelangi Village)

Job Description & Requirements

• Clean and maintain hygiene of dormitories, toilets, dining areas and common spaces
• Sweep and mop floors, clean windows and glass panels
• Disinfect residents’ beds, furniture, and equipment regularly
• Dispose of rubbish and recyclable waste properly
• Ensure cleanliness standards are maintained at all times
• Maintain high standards of Health, Safety and Hygiene, with particular regard for areas that are infection control
• Ensure that cleaning equipment is used appropriately and maintained to a high standard
• To be comfortable working in a male psychiatric rehabilitation home
• Perform cleaning duties as required by the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent
