Our Executive Committee

Mr Anil Sarasijakshan is a Solution Director with DHL Express Global Business IT department. He is responsible for managing some of the global tools used in the company. He leads one of the Passion Specialist Teams in DHL Singapore which aims to create an impact on the people and community it operates in.

He has served as a Grassroots Leader since 2017 and he currently holds the position of Vice-Chairman in the Thomson Neighbourhood Committee.

Mrs Sarala Raman is a Retiree and was previously a Senior Admissions Officer/Registrar in UWCSEA and SJI International. Since her retirement, she has been volunteering at St Anne’s Home for the Aged and currently volunteers at the SNM Care Centre, assisting with the Eldercare programme.

She is the Chairperson of the Members Sub-Committee and is a member of the Meranti Home Sub Committee.

Mrs Sarala is also passionate about Indian Classical Music. She plays both the veena and the violin, and she is also a Carnatic singer.

Ms Shalini Damodaran is a retired Master Teacher from the Ministry of Education (MOE) and a recipient of the Long Service Award in recognition of her work educating and mentoring both students and teachers for 39 years. Since her retirement in 2018, she has dabbled in oil painting and has written and published a creative non-fiction book, ‘Dad and I’, as well as student study guides for ‘A Tapestry of Colours: Asian Short Stories’.

Ms Shalini currently sits on several sub-committees. She chairs the Communications Sub-Committee and is a member of the Human Resources, Meranti Home and the By Laws Sub-Committees. Besides these, she also serves in the newly formed Supplementary Revenue Stream Sub-Committee.

Ms Shalini has found new meaning and purpose in SNM’s mission to “empower people to lead dignified lives”. She hopes to see more members stepping forward to support the less privileged in the community.

Dr Sreenivasan Sreenath is a distinguished individual known for his multifaceted contributions as a Civil Engineer, Project Manager, a dedicated member of SNM, and his active involvement in various grassroots activities.

With a profound commitment to community development and social progress, Dr Sreenath has consistently demonstrated his leadership skills and unwavering dedication to creating positive change.

Ms Aathira Unnithan has been a volunteer with SNM since 2015, actively contributing to the organisation’s Youth Wing. With a passion for eldercare, she pursued her Master’s Degree in Applied Gerontology from NTU.

Ms Aathira currently manages an Active Ageing Centre and aspires to leverage her knowledge and experiences to meaningfully contribute to the wellbeing of seniors.

Ms Shilpa D/O Surash Lal is a Business Analyst focused on providing strategies for digital process transformation and has held various roles in the finance sector. She has also been involved with volunteering activities in SNM as part of the Youth Committee.

Ms Anusha Senan is a Global Industry Manager for a leading consulting firm. She has been involved with SNM since 2001 and has previously served in the EXCO as Assistant Treasurer and Youth Committee chairperson. She was part of the member teams that launched and ran the Lend-a-Hand programme and the SNM Youth Symposium.

Ms Kamarshi Shailaja is a senior Information Systems professional with over 35 years of experience in managing enterprise wide, mission critical IT programmes and projects in the Insurance Sector across Asia. She currently advises clients on their digital transformation initiatives.

Ms Shailaja currently chairs the Digitalisation Sub-Committee for SNM. She is also a member of the IT Resource Panel for SINDA.

Ms Neetha Sanjay is a Singapore based, ICF Certified Life & Career Coach who is passionate about empowering women to achieve their life and career goals. A dental surgeon by training, with more than a decade of experience in management, she enjoys sharing her learning by speaking on confidence, resilience, and positivity and helping women advance in life and career.

Ms Neetha previously served on the Board of PrimeTime Business and Professional Women’s Association. In addition to being committee member at SNM, she also volunteers and mentors at other nonprofit organisations like PrimeTime, Wedu Global, YSEALI, and SheBrilliance.

Mr Ramachandran Nayar Ajayan is an HR Professional, working as Senior Director for Talent Development in a semiconductor MNC overseeing the Asia region.

He also holds the credential of Professional Certified Coach (PCC), offered by the International Coach Federation (ICF) besides being Certified as Senior Professional (SP) by the Institute for HR Professionals (IHRP), Singapore.

He is currently a volunteer Career Advisor (vCA) with WSG-Workforce Singapore, besides serving as a District Councilor (SkillsFuture standing committee) at Northwest CDC and Woodlands Grassroots organisation.

Mr Sreekanth serves as an Executive Director at Arcadis, overseeing workplace operations across more than 40 countries.

He offers a wealth of leadership experience, having spent decades in global roles within various engineering and architectural consulting businesses. He specializes in delivering business operations across large geographical areas, diverse market environments, and varying regulatory frameworks, with a focus on sustainability and digitalisation.

Mr Sreekanth is a postgraduate of the National University of Singapore, where he studied Engineering, and the State University of New York, Buffalo, where he focused on Strategic Business Management and Leadership.

He is a dedicated advocate for supporting professional growth and community engagement as a regular trainer for educational and professional institutes. He is also the current President of the CET Alumni Association, Singapore Chapter.

Mr Premnadh Sadasivan has a varied portfolio that includes Project Management, Requirements Management and development of software and electronic products in various engineering companies such as Philips Electronics (Chief Engineer for 20 years) and ST Engineering (currently Assistant Principal Engineer for 8 years).

Dr Swapna Dayanandan, Ph.D. (Gerontology), is the CEO and Founder of Joy in Living Aged Care Services Pte Ltd, a company providing geron-technology and innovative eldercare solutions to tackle the ageing opportunities in Singapore and globally.

She is an Associate Faculty with the Singapore University of Social Sciences. She heads the Smart Healthcare Workgroup of Smart Cities Network and is currently involved in several smart healthcare projects in ASEAN.

Dr Swapna served as President of SNM in the past and continues to serve on the EXCO. She currently chairs the Eldercare Services Management Sub-Committee and the Smart Nursing Home Taskforce, and is a member of the HR Sub-Committee. She also chairs the Task Force for the Supplementary Revenue Stream Project at SNM.

Dr Swapna was also the recipient of two National Day Awards –  The Commendation Medal in 2018 and the Long Service Medal in 2021.

Mr T.G Sajir worked in the customer service sector for more than four decades. He recently retired and serves actively with SNM.

Mr Sajir has been in the EXCO previously as a committee member and has served as an Internal Auditor. He was reelected into the EXCO in 2021 and currently sits in the Meranti Home Management Sub-Committee.

Ms Vidya Sasidharan is a lawyer who started her practice in-house with a Single-Family Office. There, she gained knowledge and exposure to the world of Finance and Wealth Management. She is also a qualified practitioner in corporate governance, risk and compliance, having completed a Diploma in the subject.

In the span of her career, Vidya has had extensive experience in client management, having honed her craft from constant engagement with key stakeholders. She particularly enjoys the litigation process of dispute resolution and strives to achieve the best possible outcome.

She was elected as SNM’s Assistant General Secretary in 2021 and sits in several sub-committees including the Meranti Home Management, By-Laws, Youth and Heritage Sub-Committees.

Mr Viju Chakarapany is the Vice President of Commercial Sales at Red Hat Asia Pacific. A member of the Red Had APAC Leadership Team, Viju leads sales and strategy across the segment towards meeting the overall business and revenue goals for Red Hat APAC and Japan.

He has built, transformed, and led dynamic teams for over two decades in sales, pre-sales, services and business management across APAC and the Middle East, including a 16-year stint at Microsoft.

Mr Viju is very passionate about giving back to society and was one of the top five fundraisers for the ‘Hair for Hope’ charity event for the Children’s Cancer Foundation and ABCs and Rice in Cambodia.

He also guides young students in the Harvard Business School Club of Singapore’s mentorship programme.
