All donations are normally non-refundable. If you have made an error in your donation or there was an unauthorised usage of your credit card, please contact us within 14 working days from the date of your donation.
Please email finance@snm.org.sg with the transaction details or contact our Donor Management Department at 6955 9555. All refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and ascertained donation refund will be processed within 45 days from date of request. All donations will be refunded via cheque only. We reserve the right to apply a fee for the refund before a refund is effected.
SNM reserves all rights to request for additional personal particulars and transaction information as and when required to authenticate the refund request.
SNM will also make the relevant adjustments to the records maintained for tax deduction purposes with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) for the said donation, if applicable.
Yes. Sree Narayana Mission (Singapore) works with our payment gateway provider, which is of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Level 1 Compliance, the highest and most stringent of the PCI DSS levels. All transactions are 3-D Secure supported and enforced with a Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) using a One-Time Password (OTP) or PIN which will be sent to your registered mobile phone number. Your transaction and sensitive information, such as personal and credit card details, are protected and transmitted across with an encrypted connection using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
No, donors do not pay any fees.
Sree Narayana Mission (Singapore) is an Institution of Public Character (IPC) approved by the Commissioner of Charities to receive tax deductible donations. This means that donors will be eligible for 250% tax deduction for qualifying donations made to Sree Narayana Mission (Singapore) in accordance to Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) regulations which can be found here.
When making your donation to Sree Narayana Mission (Singapore), remember to select the option for ‘Tax Exemption’ and provide the necessary details, especially your identification number (NRIC/FIN/UEN) in order to qualify for tax deduction. We will upload the donor particulars directly to Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) to be automatically included in your personal/corporate Tax Assessment. An acknowledgement receipt will be issued to you if a valid mailing address or email address is provided.
All cash donations made to Sree Narayana Mission (Singapore) will enjoy tax deductions of 2.5 times the qualifying donation amount. Declaration of the donation amount in your income tax return is not required.
Tax deductions for qualifying donations will automatically be reflected in your tax assessment if you have provided your tax reference number (e.g., NRIC/FIN/UEN). IRAS will no longer accept claims for tax deduction based on donation receipts.
Donations must be made before the year end for the tax deduction to be allowed in the next tax season. (Eg: if an individual donates in 2022, tax deduction will be allowed in his tax assessment for the Year of Assessment (YA) 2023).
Any donations made to Mission/Cultural is not eligible for tax exemption.
Donations towards our Nursing Home and Senior Care Centre also benefit from the Community Silver Trust (CST), which is a dollar-for-dollar donation matching grant provided by the Government to enhance the services of Social Service Agencies (formerly known as Voluntary Welfare Organisations) in the Community Care sector. It is managed by the Ministry of Health and administered by Agency for Integrated Care.
