Message of Appreciation and Gratitude

To the Management, Nurses, and Staff of SNM Nursing Home@Riverwalk,

With a heart full of gratitude, I am writing to express my deepest appreciation for the exceptional care you provided to my beloved late mother, Begum Binti Zainul Abidin, who passed away peacefully on 23 August 2026.

My mother was disabled, living with dementia, and suffered from a severe sacral wound. I am deeply grateful for your meticulous attention—from bathing her with dignity, changing her diapers with patience, and feeding her with care, to the diligent turning of her body every two hours to prevent further bedsores. You did not just manage her condition; you improved her quality of life. A few of the nurses even shared with me that my mother was one of their favourites—that touched my heart deeply, knowing she was cherished beyond just her daily care.

Your kindness extended beyond the home. I am so thankful for the staff who accompanied her to hospital visits and for the weekly updates on her health progress, which gave our family immense peace of mind. Even after she passed, the staff reached out to me to ask for the funeral location so they could attend and pay their final respects—a gesture that deeply touched my heart and showed me that their compassion extended far beyond their daily duties.

My mother always expressed her thanks to the nurses who fed and cared for her. When she was still able, she would even remind me to buy something for you all as a token of her appreciation. While she was unable to speak or express herself verbally in her final two months, I know without a doubt that her heart was full of the same gratitude. She felt your kindness until her very last day.

Thank you for showing her such dignity, care, and love. Although I may not know every single one of your names personally, please know that each and every one of you will forever remain in my heart and in my mother’s heart.

May God bless all the staff of SNM Nursing Home with continuous strength, patience, dedication, good health, perseverance, skills, kindness, and excellent service to those who truly need you. You are not just healthcare professionals; you are angels on earth.
