Resident – Programme Executive (Nursing Home)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, organising and running of programmes under the guidance of the SPE.
- Work under the supervision of SPE to assist in implementing individual and group activities to residents.
- Assist in preparing the activity room by following prescribed procedures and protocols, including tidying activity areas and assisting in cleaning of equipment and area(s).
- Prepare residents for activities by assisting residents into appropriate apparels, and escorting residents to and from the ward and activity room.
- Assist in preparing materials for conducting of recreational programmes and events.
- Organise and conduct group activities and excursions.
- Ensure safety of residents during therapy sessions, activities and outings at all times.
- Assist the Home’s driver in transporting resident from the Home to outing sites and return trip when assigned.
- Guide, supervise and train caregivers and volunteers on their performance of duties (including scheduling) and implementation of activities for the residents.
- To oversee the logistical requirements for the delivery of the programmes.
- Prepare and conduct interactive activities to residents in the Home.
Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent in any discipline.
- At least two years of working experience in a similar position in a Nursing Home.
- Able to converse in local dialects.
- Passionate in serving the needy and vulnerable.
- Have listening and coaching skills.
- Able to work independently.
