Finance Senior Executive (General Ledger)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Entering financial data such as accruals, deferrals, reclassification, donations-in-kind and interdepartmental entries into the ledger on a monthly basis, as well as preparing reports.
- Performing account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct.
- Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyse, and interpret relevant financial information.
- Fixed asset custodian – updating, tagging and housekeep the assets’ register.
- Reconciling accounts with the general ledger.
- Bank reconciliation for different business divisions of SNM.
- Verifying daily cash collections before banking.
- Petty cash custodian.
- Assist in accounting for Pharmacy invoices.
- Assist Manager\Senior Manager in account closing and audits.
- Preparation of journals and financial support for other day-to-day operations and updates of accounts functions as and when required.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Accountancy\ LCCI \ Partial ACCA or equivalent.
- At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Exposure to General Ledger, accounting standards for Charities & Associations would be advantageous.
- Additional advantage if candidate is familiar with Infocare system.
