Procurement Executive

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all activities of the purchasing department.
  • To keep track of master procurement list and to activate contracts near expiring dates in advance to support and maintain operations.
  • Understand procurement SOP and ensure that all internal staff adhere to it.
  • Prepare plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
  • Follow and enforce the company’s procurement policies and procedures.
  • Review, compare, analyse, and approve products and services to be purchased.
  • Manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records.
  • Maintain and update supplier information.
  • Maintain good supplier relations and negotiate contracts.
  • Research and evaluate prospective suppliers.
  • Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.
  • Update inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels.
  • Analyse market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions.
  • Coordinate with inventory team, management, and stockroom as required.
  • Assess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management.


  • Minimum Diploma in Procurement or equivalent certifications.
  • Preferred 3 years relevant working experience in a similar capacity, preferably in healthcare industry.
  • Excellent communications and negotiation skills.
  • Resourceful, self-driven, proactive, and independent worker.
  • Hardworking and meticulous with positive attitude.
  • Proficient in use of MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access).
